Premeno is a small mountain village in the Italian pre-alps and
is accessible within 1 – 1 ½ hours from all Milan airports.
Malpensa and Bergamo (Orio al Serio) are recommended from the UK.
Ryanair, Duo Airlines and Easyjet are worth consulting for flights
Car hire is virtually essential for accessing the flat and for
enjoying your visit. Nova, Cheepcars and AutoEurope are sources of
car hire (typically £20/day
for a small car)

to Somma Lombardo
Up to roundabout and round to 3rd exit signs
to Somma Lombardo and green signs A26
Continue into Somma Lombardo
to first roundabout
2nd exit – ignore green signs to Autostrada
for first exit, you join up again at next lights
Continue to first
traffic lights after 500 metres
Take a left and continue through
3 sets of lights following green signs A26 Genoa
Come into Vergiate
and to first roundabout
Straight through roundabout green signs
to Autostrada
After 1 km take right fork sign “Tutte le
Direzzioni”
Then left fork in 400 metres
Then immediately 100 metres right
fork/exit green signs Genoa, GravellonaT
Follow round to toll
and take ticket – pay later at
next toll
Right lane immediately to A26 Genoa and Gravellona

Merge onto Autostrada
Continue for almost 10 km. (Bella vista
di Montagne! – unless
it’s dark!)
Autostrada splits keep to right lanes A26
to Gravellona T, Sempione and Lago Maggiore
Continue to next
toll. Pay with ticket €2.60
3rd exit after toll to Baveno
and Stresa
Follow exit road for about 1 km. down to the lake
Left at the
bottom following signs to Verbania
Straight through mini roundabout
at Feriolo following signs to Verbania
Right at next roundabout – to
Verbania
Turn immediately left (100 metres) to Trobaso and Cambiasca
Stay
on this road straight through Bieno
Turn right at first roundabout
1st roundabout go off at 2 o’clock (1st exit)

through next roundabout, signs to PREMENO (2nd exit)
Left after
200 metres at next roundabout, signs to PREMENO (2nd exit)
Straight
at roundabout after 600 metres following signs to Arrizano
and PREMENO
Continue on this road – signs to PREMENO,
pass through Bee
Arrive PREMENO – fork left at Benvenuti
